Dr. Allen’s training on Practicing Inclusion and Diversity Competence was very inspiring and eye opening. The training was engaged and interactive. It allowed us to work in teams but at the same time discuss each subject with everyone. Dr. Allen is extremely knowledgeable and passionate on the subject, a passion that resonated with everyone in attendance. I would highly recommend anyone that has the opportunity to take her training.

The 5-Step Plan introduced me to a number of things I should be aware of as I try to reach for my long term and short term goals. It allowed me to think about a vision with steps to take in order to be successful. This, in turn, would motivate me as these steps would be short term goals that I can use as 'mini' achievements that I can look back on to see what I have accomplished while trying to reach for my long-term goals. I liked the fact that I was asked why I wanted to achieve such goals. The why is what motivates me to accomplish my goals, and now I have a plan to put into action as I move forward in trying to reach my goals.
